Thank you Ronaldo.Football without the "Phenomenon"

Ronaldo the phenomenon (the TRUE Ronaldo as many people say, comparing to Christiano :p). Or Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima.
The world of football wishes to have seen more of him. But it will definitely be poorer without the "phenomenon".

I can't imagine what more we'd had seen if he hadn't broke his legs. But he is already a football legend!
Won so many titles, played in the elite of football clubs, running like hell, dribble and scoring in an amazing style but also.....suffered so many times by injuries. An unfair stop to Ronaldo's career cause he never managed to come back to his top quality after that.
Transfering to Corinthians as his last football club and being an overweighted player for years his star faded day by day. So on 14 February 2011 Ronaldo announce his retirement
He cited pain and hypothyroidism as the reason for his premature retirement. He left football with the record of the most goals scored in the history of the FIFA World Cup, including two goals in the 2002 FIFA World Cup Final.

I don't believe that we ever going to see strikers in his level...Thank you Ronaldo for all the magic and good luck whatever you do. You were a true phenomenon!

Throttler, the Greek destroyer

Throttler (Steve Foskolos) is a great Greek Drum n Bass producer and sound engineer. Despite the difficulties in promoting his work in Greece his progress is amazing! He already has more than 30 releases and his own record label.
It’s really impressive to know that someone with a very few support from the Greek EDM (electronic dance music) community and a non mainstream music style has maintain so many things.
Since I’ve known Steve, he’s been a big fan and supporter of Rave and dance scene back in 90's. I know and believe that his biggest influence and producing "idol" is Liam Howlett (producer and leader of Prodigy). He stared composing breakbeat and hardcore sounds but soon his big love and influences in Drum N Bass and Jungle overtook him very fast. So his talent and potentials made him believe in professional productions. Throttler has also some good projects in Gabba Hardcore (Gabber) but he kept dedicating his distorted bass lines, kick drums and breaks to his Drum and Bass side. Few years later he along with Trackiller, Da Criminal and Alcoholic Freak made a team named NOD (Nation of Distortion) and they started organizing few events around Athens.
As the years pass music industry is rewarding his hard work, devotion and loyalty to his dream. In 2008 a parallel project appeared. Throttler and Lowbss is a promising duo. The solid sounds and unmerciful breaks of Throttler along with distorted and offensive vocals of Lowbss become a great idea. Their first release proved that. Lowbss was also a fan and supporter of Drum n Bass scene since 90's and she has been a band's bassist in the past. She is very talented and has an amazing voice. In May 2008 Throttler and Lowbss gave an interview on Sound Maker magazine introducing Throttler's work that was already good

Here are some of DJ Throttler' releases in various label

Today Throttler can proudly show his biography that includes vinyl and CD releases, Live P.A.s and guest djing to Europe (Bristol, Leeds, Brussels, Gent, Neuchatel, Dresden, Athens, Thessaloniki etc) and his Throttler Recordings label. He has played along with famous Evol Intent, Enduser and other Drum n Bass DJs and of course more productions and events are coming. These are proofs of his talent and hard work.
This period the first release of his label is coming out including two very strong productions, Throttler - Accelerator / Macadamia Cracker. In other good news, the SoundMaker Magazine has a review of Throttler’s new label Single.

Keep up the great work Steve and i know that more rewards will keep coming for you and us
